Since the ancient time, Marguerite Island has been a true cultural hub. The most famous stories and legends of this island are without any doubt link to Fort Royale. Long story short, this is where one of the most famous inmates was incarcerated: The man with the iron mask.

If this story doesn’t hook up enough to take your lunch break on the island, maybe the untouched beaches and numerous cove will.

On the map above, every beaches and cove are not indicated. Instead, we selected to ones we prefer and we are sure you will too.

When sailing around this island, be careful. The water is only 2 to 3 meters deep – we advise you to stay alert.

La Pointe du Dragon (literally, the dragon’s tip) is for sure, the wildest one. Bonus: it also has to clearest water from the entire island.

And if by any mistake, you forgot your lunch, worry not! Moore in a safe and calm area and order a delivery pizza. Thanks to Didier and Laurance, who transformed their Catamaran Nautitech 48 in a floating pizza place, you can have your hot and steamy pizza delivered to your boat.

End of the day

boat itinerary around the Saint Ferreol Island

It’s already mid-afternoon, and the sun starts its final curve. It is time to set sail to Saint-Honorat Island – Island which belongs for centuries to Cistercian’s Monk.

On this island, lies one of the most well-kept secrets of the Cannes area: an 8.5-hectare vineyard. Not your classical vineyard thought. This one has been cultivated the old way to produce one of the greatest wine that Michelin starred chefs buy without any hesitation.

Of course, Saint-Honorat has a lot to offer and will make your mooring worth it. The particularity of Saint-Honorat’s beaches makes you feel on the other side of the world, in a remote place -even being a few miles away from the mainland.

Saint-Pierre cove is special in its own way – it has a sandbank, which makes it perfect for a quick stop. Very famous, hence popular during summer time for its beauty, it is advised to go there at the end of the afternoon to avoid the crowd.

Finally, you can estimate a time of 1 hour before returning to your starting point at Mandelieu-La-Napoule, which give you enough time to enjoy your day on the sea around the Lerins Islands.
