5 Boat Shows to Look Out for In 2023

by | Feb 17, 2023

If you’re looking into buying or renting a boat this 2023, or are a big fan of everything nautic, then look no further than this list. We have compiled the 5 Boat Shows to attend this year, whether looking to rent or buy, or even if you just want to experience the latest technology and advancements on the aquatic scene.

Miami International Boat Show

February 15th-19th 2023

This week, the Miami International Boat Show is once again commencing in Florida. In 2022, the show saw over 100,000 visitors, and was the largest boat and yacht event in the world. Not only does the show entertain fans of the nautical world and people looking to invest in the boat industry, but the show caters to all types of people, from children with their inclusion of the AquaZone which shows off the variety of water sports on offer, to the Interactive Learning Experience which is available to both teach and answer any boating questions you may have.

The experience also offers a great culinary experience with unique cocktails and fishing seminars, as well as of course offering tours of some of the world’s best SuperYachts.  The show displays every type of boat, from small boats such as kayaks, to the biggest SuperYachts, as well as being a place to explore new nautical innovations, not only for your boat but for any type of water activity.

If you are currently attending the show in Miami, make sure to check out our Miami day boat itinerary.

The Port Camargue Boat Show

April 7th-10th 2023

After the Miami International Boat Show, the next for your calendar is the Port Camargue Boat Show, also known as Les Nautiques De Port Camargue. Based in Port Camargue, near Montpellier in the South of France, the show is the place to go in the Mediterranean if you are looking to get into the boating world, or are already a big fan. With a wide range of vehicles for sale, this show is a great place for everyone, and for those who don’t want to buy but would rather explore or sail. Music, presentations, seminars, entertainment and more, packed with things to do and explore, offering lectures about water activities such as sea fishing, the show hopes to educate everyone in attendance.

Giorgio Armani SuperYacht Regatta

June 6th-10th 2023

Named after their title sponsor and huge yachting fan, the Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta is an annual event held in Porto Cervo, Sardinia. Unlike the other events on this list, this regatta features coastal racing every day and is a great holiday to go on for beginners to the nautical world, who are looking to learn more instead of looking into buying a boat, which is a huge step. If you plan to attend the event, the yacht club offers all the services you need, from restaurants and wine bars to spas and hairdressers. Stay in one of the luxury hotels nearby and soak up the sun with a cocktail in hand as you watch some of the world’s most impressive superyachts compete to win just off the coast.

Salone Nautico di Genoa

September 2023

In Italy, the Salone Nautico di Genoa is the show to visit and is coming to the country in September. Although all the details for the new event have not been ironed out yet, previous years have shown the event to be a must-see event for those who love the sailing world. The event is filled with sporting events, technical seminars, conferences and over 1,000 boats to see making it a great event to visit during your summer holidays. The show also excites people by playing into their competitive side, with the Design Innovation Awards being gifted to encourage innovation and greatness in the industry. One thing we do know about the 2023 show is that it will be different to the past couple of years, taking place in a completely renovated and functional exhibition area known as ‘Genoa’s Levante Waterfront’.

Nautic Paris

December 2023

To close out the year from the 3rd to the 10th of December, Nautic Paris, the international Parisian boat show, will be back and is a place for both professionals and beginners. While following the other boat shows with the overall idea, the show also brings its own individual spin which makes this an event like no other. Previous years have seen the likes of virtual reality wakeboarding, short films, book signings, wine tastings and karaoke. However, the main event is clearly the famous Nautic paddle, a paddle-board race along the Seine, passing under 27 of Paris’ 29 bridges, in either the leisure or pro route. Even if you don’t particularly like sailing events, this is a great place to spend time with your family and friends with a wide range of activities.

If you do choose to attend one of these events, make sure you book early, as both tickets and accommodation go fast.
