In addition to its turquoise waters, Syvota’s numerous coves and inlets such as those around Mourtemeno and Mavro Oros offer charming escapes from any surrounding chaos. Be sure to make a stop at Mega Drafi beach, a stretch of beach divided into three that is a swimmer’s paradise.
Syvota → Paxos

South of Syvota, the island of Paxos comes into view. Legend has it that this island came into existence when the Greek god Poseidon struck his trident against Corfu, resulting in the beauty that exists to this day. On the island’s Northern tip, you will find the traditional village of Lakka. With its deep harbour that is naturally protected from strong winds, it offers a great docking spot for yachts. The quaint streets of Lakka are worth exploring, and make for a great lunch spot.
Not to be missed on a Corfu dayboat route are the Blue Caves of Paxos, located mainly on the East of the island. This area is abundant in clusters of sea caves that make for majestic views, especially when juxtaposed against the crystal clear waters, hence the name Blue Caves. Paxos → Antipaxos
