Croatia has recently gained a lot of fame and has become one of the greatest and hottest party spots in Europe. In fact, it is known to welcome many A-list celebrities and party lovers from all across the globe.

And it’s easy to understand why.

With lovely sunny weather, beautiful beaches, and the classic European party vibe, the country is host to many party islands where you’ll surely have a good time!

While there are thousands of island on the coastline, there are five party islands in Croatia that attract the wild party crowd. Let’s have a look!

Which is the best party islands in Croatia ?

  • Pag Island

Known as Croatian Ibiza, Zrce beach on Pag Island is the best place for mind-blowing parties full of music, dance, and drinks. In fact, it is one of the most famous party beaches in the whole country.

 

Zrce Beach is known for its renowned parties like Fresh Island, Hideout Festival, Croatia Rocks, and Electrobeach.

  • Rab

While Rab recently joined the group of party islands, it is becoming quite popular for those who want an alternative to the crowded Pag. Previously, Rab used to be heaven for outdoor enthusiasts willing to explore the island’s rocky cliffs and dense forests.

Outdoor enthusiasts still visit the island, however, now the beaches of the island are lined with discotheques, beach bars, and nightclubs.

Two names, in particular, stand out, Pudarice and Barbat, that are always packed with party lovers because of concerts, festivals, live performances, cultural happenings, etc.

  • Hvar

Hvar is the sunniest of the party islands in Croatia which is why it is one of the more famous tourist destinations, especially with the younger population.

Recently, Hvar has become famous as an exclusive party spot.

In fact, Hvar Town boasts some of the greatest nightclubs, with many opening their doors regularly. Moreover, the Ultra Festival Beach Party also takes place there every July.

Since Hvar is an elite destination, partying here is a little expensive than other party islands in Croatia. However, locations like the Hula Hula bar and Carpe Diem are quite popular with both tourists and locals.

  • Brac

Brac island, home to Zlatni Rat, is known to be one of the most beautiful beaches of the world. Zlatni Rat which translates to Golden Horn is a stunning beach and will blow your breath away!

While the island is not as famous as Hvar or Pag among thrill-seekers, it still attracts various kinds of tourists each year and offers a lot of fun from dusk till dawn!

Furthermore, the greatest thing about Brac is that it is affordable than other party islands which makes it popular for those on a budget who want to get more for their money!

In the summer, Brac also hosts day-long events at different spots. People love to flock here for some of the most thrilling coastal parties!

  • Obonjan Island

Previously known to be just deserted land, Obonjan is a private island that offers pool and forest parties throughout the summer. The parties here are known to be loud and feature some of the world’s best DJ to keep the party going.

Moreover, with the 10-week summer season, visitors can enjoy a unique combination of relaxation and revelry that is hard to find someplace else in the world!
